The cats have a lot of toys, some may say they are spoiled. As an end of the summer effort to weed out items that they no longer play with, I made a garage sale pile. After a heated fight between Cooper and Bear, I will need to rethink getting rid of their pergo cat carrier...
Fur flew. And, Cooper is the victor.
This carrier is purely a bed for Cooper. The last time he used this as an actual carrier, I had to pull the car over because I had a cat pushing his head out of the carrier. This was a little nerve racking while you are driving on the highway. Long story, it ended up with a cat on the dashboard and a few snags from his nails as he jumped into the back seat. Not good.
At any rate, Cooper has shown that he still cherishes his carrier and unfortunately Bear had to find out the hard way.

Little spoon action
There is nothing more precious than a big old Bear coming to snuggle up with you. He truly likes to be the little spoon. Bear makes resting easy and getting up a sad event.
Imagine this...

Cow Cats
Wednesday seems like a good day to salute cow cats! Here is a friendly guy that will come into your condo if you leave the door open and likes to have his belly rubbed.
And this guy, he likes to meow at you to stop walking so he can get pet. He will rub his scent all over your legs. Wednesday, September 7, 2011
Meet Bear
Bear is
a gentle giant. He likes to be the little spoon. When Bear wants to cuddle, he
forgets that he is 15 pounds as he squeezes onto your lap. As the middle child:
he hopelessly follows Ivy around and learns from her; and sets aside specific
time to get attention from us, usually during our morning routine. He likes to
play with Q-tips and won’t eat anything besides his cat food. AKA Teddy Bear (his full name), Teddy, or big guy.
You will also want to meet his brother Cooper and sister-by-another-mother Ivy.

Meet Ivy
Ivy is
independent. She is curious, but smart. She will out smart any laser pointer.
She is the only one in the family to have unsupervised visits outside. She is a
hunter of spiders and Cooper makes for an easy target. Ivy is described as the
older child, minus the love for her brothers. She likes to drink coffee and
play with edamame shells. You will also want to meet her brother-by-another-mother, Teddy and Cooper.

Meet Cooper
Cooper loves to be the center of attention. He is
extremely cuddly and frequently gets kisses on his cheeks. Cooper has a thing
about plastic bags; he likes to chew them – scary – which makes trash day a
treat for him. If there is a paper bag, soccer bag, suitcase or any other kind
of bag or box, he will be there. Mostly though, you can find him on a lap or by
my side. He is treated like the baby in the family and enjoys every moment of
it! AKA Cooper Pooper (his full name), Coop, Poop, Scooter, Coopie.
You will also want to meet his brother Teddy and sister-by-another-mother Ivy.

I fit into small places, like your lap
Teddy:
[plop] I am here! Look at me!
You may not have noticed me walking around you while you were busy typing on your computer. I hopped up here with just a narrow pathway to your lap.
[purr] I take your hand over my shoulder while you type as affection, thank you.
Human: [Few minutes later] Oh, I have a cat. A big cat in my lap. Aw what a cutie, let me get my camera. [content human]

Sunday: fun day
I have to say I am a fussy boy when it comes to toys. If I hear ribbon, I will come running into the room. I may ignore pleas to play with a ball; it just sits there and I like interaction. There you have it, I am high maintenance when it comes to playing with toys.
Photo Caption: New toys! New toys! Oh, lucky day!
